Grand Master Todd Norcross has studied a variety of martial arts over the past 40+ years. He has studied under and lived with world-renowned Grand Masters such as Tiger Lee, Jung Kuk Kim, and Jung Um Kim. Under their instruction, he went through intense physical and mental training and learned that mind, body, and soul are one. He has studied and trained in Hapkido, Tae kwon do, Tang Soo Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Pagumont, Kali, Dos Pares, Arnis, Shaolin Kung Fu, and White Tiger Kung Fu.

During his 30+ years as a martial arts instructor, Grand Master Norcross has trained numerous champions who have competed in Washington, Oregon and California State Championships as well as the Junior National Championships, Junior Olympics and Pan Am Games.

Grand Master Norcross specializes in teaching practical self defense to students of all ages. He brings a fun and relaxed approach while also instilling the basic tenets of courtesy and discipline which are basic to all martial arts.

Grand Master Todd Norcross has a lifetime of first-hand experience in survival situations. He has endured a myriad of dangerous situations including fist fights, stabbings, and gang violence. He understands the predatory mindset and how not to be “prey.” Todd is an U.S. Army veteran as well as a former federal police officer. In Todd’s 45+ year career as a martial artist, he has trained with some of the most high ranking martial arts masters of a variety of disciplines from around the world.

Todd survived the “urban jungle” of San Bernardino County and went on to graduate from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Academy before joining the army. While enlisted, he was a member of the Taekwondo and Boxing teams and was also a small arms instructor. Todd worked as a security guard and bouncer at numerous bars and nightclubs before becoming a federal police officer.

Moreover, Todd is a father, husband, and coach. He understands how to motivate, lead, and follow. He teaches verbal awareness, preparedness, and de-escalation as well as tried-and-true, easy yet effective, self defense techniques.

Joy Rosenblum, Todd’s wife, is a 3rd degree blackbelt. She has trained for over 15 years, overcoming anxiety and bullying, to be a strong and impactful instructor. Joy has worked in education for over 15 years and has also homeschooled their daughter. She understands how students learn as well as how to motivate.

Annabelle is the daughter of Todd and Joy. She is often seen instructing kid’s classes and the occasional adult class. She, herself, began training at the age of 2 ½. She is currently a second degree blackbelt who recently competed at the AAU Taekwondo Nationals, earning Elite Eight status or better in all divisions.
